Why We Started
Achievement Essentials was born from a simple yet vital need: partnering with schools and districts to provide high-quality math content knowledge and instructional strategies to K-5 math teachers, paraeducators, and parents.
After decades of leading schools, teaching, and coaching, they recognized a clear need to support teachers in making better instructional decisions in real-time with their students. As educators, they know the need to understand the math content so they can intentionally use representations and strategies in order to meet the needs of their students by operationalizing their unit plans, aligning them with standards, learning target progressions, and common formative assessments for their students.
Achievement Essentials empowers educators with the tools and understanding necessary to foster deep mathematical comprehension and cultivate confident, capable young mathematicians.
