Janel Keating
Janel Keating is the recently retired superintendent of the White River School District in the state of Washington. An accomplished educator with over 40 years of experience, she is a former elementary and middle school teacher, principal, director of student learning, deputy superintendent, and superintendent.
Scot Curran
Scot Curran
Scot Curran is a teacher, leader, coach, and presenter who specializes in instruction and mathematics. Scot aims to support teachers by clarifying the expectations of math content both within and across grade levels. Scot works with teams to think through how to create a learning target progression based on an essential standard, how to design the short formative checks for understanding, and how to design instruction learning target by learning target. Molly Curran
Molly Curran
Molly Curran is a former teacher, building learning coordinator, and team leader. While she has spent the majority of her career working at Mountain Meadow Elementary School in the White River School District, Molly has worked in a variety of grade levels across multiple states. She understands the wide variety of challenges teachers face, and is dedicated to supporting them as they strive to improve outcomes for the students they serve. Molly helps teams think through how to create a learning target progression based on an essential standard, how to design the short formative checks for understanding, and how to design instruction – learning target by learning target. Tara Kaelin
Tara Kaelin
Tara Kaelin is an effective teacher and a talented team leader. She achieves impressive results with her students, and her team also achieves notable results. For a number of years, Tara’s team has been the highest-performing 5th-grade team in Pierce County, Washington. There are nearly 190 elementary schools in Pierce County. Tara brings 24 years of successful classroom experience to the Achievement Essentials team. She has taught at both elementary and middle school levels. Today, Tara dedicates her time to teaching fifth grade and supporting schools and grade-level teams in improving instruction. She’s also extremely knowledgeable about how to use the Focused Interim Assessments as an instructional tool.

Meagan Rhoades worked with Janel Keating in White River School District for more than 25 years. She ended her career as District Assesment Coordinator, as well as managing the school district’s social media presence.
